Queen of the Night
The “Queen of the Night” is a character in Mozart's opera, “The Magic Flute”. Here, she sings her famous aria, pleading for help to save her daughter.

She is completely sculpted in paperclay. The eyes are glass, and the teeth are sculpted of polymer clay. The costume is made of velvets, metallics, and chiffons; hand embroidered with beads, sequins, and antique gems. She wears hand-dyed ostrich feathers and beaded gems in her wool hair. She stands 32 in. tall.
