Art Deco Tassel
Art Deco Tassel:
This “Tassel Doll” was inspired by the artist/designer Erte, who was known for his Art Deco fashions, and his flair for using Arabian themes during the 1920's and 30's.
The “Tassel” doll won second place in Sherry Goshon's “20's Designer Challenge”.
The doll itself is 12 in. long, (20 in. including the tassel). The body is made of doesuede fabric. The costume is made of velvet, brocades, and metallics, and is encrusted with jewels and beads.
